Pros

Great place to start to work since the name and brand recognition is widely known throughout the world. Work is relatively easy and lots of benefits given to employees such as great health package and trainings funds and exams.

Cons

Sadly the compensation for Verizon got way behind the times. At the time that I started in here, compensation is above its competitors, now after 4 y ears, its compensation was left behind in the times. Another problem with Verizon is managements complete utter disregard for the voice of its lower employees. Most of the time, a decision WILL be made without checking the opinions of the people involved. Another thing is the constant suck-up mentality with the upper management will get you anywhere while a straight arrow will leave you stagnant in your career advancement.
