Pros

401k match, health insurance, and other benefits are great and well above what most companies offer. Many opportunities for growth Work life balance is much better than many tech companies

Cons

Pay is slightly below average for similar roles at other companies

Pros

Great benefits, Management puts a lot of surveys to employees so exec management can improve. Three weeks vacation the first year and after three years you get four weeks. Lots of training available. If you like volunteer work Verizon is top notch as they believe in giving back to the community. They ask for volunteer work and will pay you to do it on company time.

Cons

Fulfilling the minimum work requirements insures the manager probably will not advance and will probably wash out over time. You will need professional credentials in your field to stay around for long.
