Pros

Huge company. Good benefits. If you want to hunker down in a massive company, and get by on a half-hearted effort, you can do it here. Lots of corporate robots just hunkered down counting the days to retirement. If you are into that kind of thing, this place is great.

Cons

Leadership has never been a strong point at Verizon. The latest leadership shakeup just made things a whole lot worse. Especially on the Wireline (Telco & Business) side. Its a disaster. The top leaders are absolutely empty suits who are getting nothing done. The whole company is literally grinding to a standstill while they fail to communicate anything about direction or vision. The latest acquisition? We all read about it in the news. Great employees are tired of it and leaving. The robots who like hiding in the cubes are the ones who are staying.
