      Deceit Pay, Great Benefits, and friendly co-workers.

      Cons

      Hours are horrible, the schedule are not all that flexible. They are open 365 days a year...so my work holidays.....

      Pros

      Verizon Wireless has some great things to offer. The share the wealth philosophy helps to drive performance and there is a real focus on being the best. With that, we don't just represent a service that we don't believe in. Most of us are bought into the products and services that the company offers because we know them to be the best.

      Cons

      The competence of lower level management at times is disappointing. Human resources drags their feet at times on job postings and lately positions have become few and far between. This is blamed in part to the acquisition of Alltel. The company had to integrate people from the Alltel company into Verizon Wireless, and economic conditions put pressure on some of our positions. With that, the company had to re-evaluate some of the support positions that did not have a direct link to profitability, but overall, great place to be.

      Pros

      Great benefits package and a good retirement plan, good pay for the work performed, also job has added protection from a strong union.

      Cons

      less vacation time in comparison, tough to get time off when needed, poor management leadership overall. Lower level managers are treated poorly and it shows in the way they treat their workforce.
