Pros
Cellco aka Verizon Wireless is a true leader in the wireless industry. Employees tend to take genuine pride in knowing that they are working for a premier company. The culture of Cellco, during my time there, was generally one where employees were genuinly valued and were seen internally as the single biggest key to the company's sucess.
Cons
The wireless field in the US has matured a great deal and Cellco is as affected by this as it's competitors. Significant cuts have been made since I was laid off in February 2009 and there is considerably less oppotunity than there had been due to that. Things should improve after the recession lets up.
