Effort to compensation ratio for craft employees is hard to beat. 401k match is in company stock, always pays a dividend.
Cons
1st line management lives in total fear of the endless RIF parade. Changing technological picture clouds 5 year plans. Management vs. Union mentality is prevalent from both sides. Senior craft employees are, generally, motivationally impaired & obstinate. Employee morale at chasm level. Operations decisions being made by accountants.
