      An Ok place if you want to make Ok money, and don't care about things like professional learning, growth, future career

      Lots of nice peers Decent workplace environment compared other service companies Better salary than other service companies Chance to get a trip abroad

      Cons

      Not a very professional software development model Bad people management - with some resorting to underhanded tactics No internet access, or one with an "allow" list! Very poor chances of professional learning - in fact, with the practices followed, you unlearn many of the things you had learnt Need to be sycophantic for growth (promotion) Need to be super-super-super-star, or simply, a sycophant (again) to get awards, "recognition" Hook people in with high salaries, but cut in other places - bonus, yr'ly increments Sincere, Hard workers taken advantage of some of the "smart" managers

      great money, great friends made, great bonuses. I would reccomend this job to anyone who wants to work in a fast paced result driven industry

      Cons

      I would not reccomend this place of employment to anyone who has a family that they enjoy seeing, as this job especially the retail end of this job is very frustrating as they dont give good vacation time around the holidays.

      Great place to start, but things change and not always for the better

      Competitive compensation, decent benefits, good first sales experience, opportunities for advancement, paid time off, many different opportunities within the company

      Cons

      I actually really enjoyed working at Verizon Wireless but it seems as soon as you get comfortable there, policies change and it seems like you're always being threatened with your job. Also working in a store you are competing against your own company when customers can go online for better deals or get a Verizon cell phone from Best Buy, Costco, or any other number of places that usually offer it a little cheaper or with free accessories.
