Ok but not great

Pros

Verizon is ok, the pay was great as a manager.

Cons

They make horrible business decisions and you are just a cog in a wheel and you feel like they just don't care. Quota is unattainable and upper management is always breathing down your neck and micro managing. They keep you on check up calls for hours on end and keep you off the floor and then yell at you when you aren't on the floor. They kept letting people go and kept giving us managers more and more jobs to do during out shift, this made it nearly impossible to be in the floor and help the reps with their sales. When you actually try to do your job they tell you aren't doing it right. They try to find any way to get rid of you if you don't conform to their ways.

Not much good

Pros

Pay/Benefits. Stable salary. Paid training.

Cons

Lots of favoritism, very numbers driven, micro-managing. Everything was about the sale, no matter whether it was the right thing to do or not. Sell, sell, sell. More, more, more.
