Benefits awesome/Management terrible

Pros

Benefits are great and peers within the group are pretty nice

Cons

Managers suck up to Directors who suck up to VPs who suck up to the CIO. All the layoffs are at the lowest layer when there is a lot of unproductive staff at the Manager and Director level. Ironically they get to decide who to cut.

Pros

Dynamic company trying to reinvent itself from old telco. Depending on the business unit, work-life balance is good. Compensation is fair and at par with similar size companies

Cons

No stock options or RSU at all levels - only director and above get's RSU. Starting vacation is only two weeks which is less than comparable high-tech companies. "Club" like culture for promotions - right place and right team. Little consideration is given to individual performance.

Pros

None - used to be offsite work at home which provided a good quality of life but that has been taken away

Cons

Does not care for their employees, laid off 3,000 plus shifted over 300 jobs off shore
