Pros

Verizon offers strong brand recognition, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex operations that truly matter. During my time here, I worked alongside many smart, dedicated people who cared deeply about doing the right thing for customers and the business. In my role as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, I was trusted with real responsibility. I collaborated cross-functionally with engineering, finance, IT, field operations, and external contractors across multiple states. I was encouraged to build solutions, not just maintain processes. This led to meaningful wins like improving scanning compliance year over year, recovering significant amounts of lost equipment, reducing aging inventory by millions of dollars, and creating new audit and training programs that delivered measurable results. Verizon is a great place to learn how a large enterprise operates. If you enjoy data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and working in a fast-paced environment, there are plenty of opportunities to grow your skill set.

Cons

Like many large corporations, Verizon can be heavily siloed. Decision-making often moves slowly, and priorities can shift quickly based on leadership changes or market pressures. This can be frustrating when you’re trying to drive long-term improvements. Workload and expectations can vary significantly by team and leadership. Some teams are well-supported, while others are stretched thin. Communication around organizational changes could be more transparent, particularly during periods of restructuring and workforce reductions.

Cons

terrible software used to enter orders making it extremely difficult to close a sale and actually have it fully complete before getting cancelled automatically or held by fraud team then never released causing the customer to be marked as fraudulent
