Pros
As with any large corporation your day to day enjoyment of your position depends on your direct manager. My experience with Verizon is that once you got beyond the call center middle management and into the operations world, the leaders were very good. Verizon itself is great about developing and promoting talent from the inside. If you can get in the door you will have a lot of growth potential.
Cons
It's a corporation. Time off standards are extremely rigid. Work from home was extremely slow in being adopted, but I've heard from previous coworkers that covid-19 pushed everyone to WFH. No idea if they will continue that afterwards. Pay is just good enough. Don't expect them to be generous.
