Working from home and flexible/hybrid work schedules are topics that management has spent considerable time exploring, and ultimately we feel that our current policy, (2 days/week in the office and 3 days/week from home), provides a fair, healthy work/life balance. We understand that personal commitments and schedules can be more easily accommodated when working from home, and we want to provide that opportunity while ensuring that we still reap the many benefits of in-person work as well. We believe there are certain aspects of collaboration, camaraderie and “accidental learning” that happen when you work alongside your peers in the office, that are difficult to replicate remotely. We highly value the relationship and team-building moments that come from everyone being together. At the same time, we certainly acknowledge that not everyone feels the same about working from the office, which is why we’ve been happy to maintain our hybrid work policy for those who choose to take advantage of it.
