Pros

Great benefits (Some of the best I have come across). Many growth opportunities, fantastic CEO. Beautiful new building we will be moving into in a couple of weeks. Very helpful IT team that will fix your issues very quickly. Great tuition reimbursement opportunities. HR team only practices core values whenever CEO is around (as I am told by many employees)

Cons

Poor communication. Too many managers where they are not needed. Brown nosers get very far, you will not get far if that is not your type of personality. Call center employees treated like they are worthless even though they are potentially the money makers. People with degrees make less money than people that do not and struggle to work their way up.

Be very cautious

Pros

Decent pay and benefits, 401k is 100% vested immediately, hiring process was relatively simple (no endless rounds of timewasting interviews like many other companies these days). A lot of very intelligent and smart technical folks work here and are good to work with

Cons

Revolving door for execs and middle mgmt. They've gotten better about articulating a coherent strategy (which other reviews complain about), but unfortunately their primary means for executing that strategy seems to endless rounds of layoffs, restructuring and outsourcing. The executive suite doesn't seem to care at all about their employees sense of job security. I would only accept a position here if it came with a contract, honestly. If you are considering a position, the fleet side of the business (i.e. not the traffic cameras) is growing, so the management there is less prone to randomly laying off good employees

A lot of work to be considered best places to work

Pros

People are knowledgeable and talented. They work hard and hold themselves and each other accountable for results. Compensation is targeted to match the market.

Cons

Core values aren't really part of the culture. Employees are asked to demonstrate these qualities on a daily basis and, for the most part, do. But the same isn't expected of senior leadership. No one wants to do what it would take to really make it among the "Best Places" to work.
