Thank you for sharing these thoughts about your time at Verra Mobility. Over the past year, we've incorporated a variety of communication tools at the corporate and team level to help employees stay up-to-date with what's happening across the business, which is a critical part of creating an engaging and fulfilling workplace. These include companywide and business unit-specific quarterly Town Halls, a social intranet updated regularly with news from across the company, weekly e-newsletters, and more. We have also been modernizing much of our hardware and software across the company to ensure employees have the resources necessary to perform in their roles.

Pros

Verra Mobility is on a mission to change the future of mobility and smart cities. I relocated from Silicon Valley to join this team not just because of that mission, but equally because of the people at the company. This is not your everyday technology company. Sure, the goals are exciting, the growth impressive and the technology compelling--on top of it, people here are personally passionate about making cities and transportation smarter, safer and more efficient. On top of it all, the people are incredibly friendly. At the end of my first week, I made the comment that Verra has done a great job of not hiring jerks. Many weeks deeper into things, that has only become more apparent.

Cons

Location: while the office is great, it is in Mesa, AZ. This is actually great if you live nearby or are reverse commuting from Phoenix/Scottsdale. Commute-wise, it just depends on where you live.

Pros

I've grown more working here in one year than I did working for 7 years in my last place.

Cons

It's undergoing changes as a corporation that takes some adjusting to and being flexible.
