Pros

* Great for entry-level operational forecasting experience * The fellow meteorologists are great to work with. Bonds and friendships are easily made

Cons

* The pay is terrible for the cost of living in the D.C. metro area. * Schedules are not consistent whatsoever and it’s extremely difficult to have any work-life balance. * Management is out of tune with the rest of the staff and don’t acknowledge the feelings and concerns of the lower-level staff.
