Pros

- **Supportive Team Environment:** Coworkers and supervisors are generally helpful and collaborative. - **Job Stability:** Consistent work and reliable hours are provided. - **Hands-On Experience:** This role offers a valuable opportunity to learn about highway systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. - **Benefits:** There is decent health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off available. - **Outdoor Work:** This position is ideal for those who prefer being active and working outside rather than sitting at a desk.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive. Decision-making can be slow due to the presence of multiple layers of management.

Pros

Take home Company Car, Training

Cons

Typical Company Politics; Some of the supervisors need more flexibility and learning how to treat employees. Low pay; little room for advancement lead to high turnover.

Just a paycheck

Pros

Working remotely. And not having the need for social interaction.

Cons

Versar is just OK. Pay is low and benefits aren’t great. It is just a paycheck type of place. Turnover is high. I saw a lot of people leave during my 3 years working there. I would not recommend this company. It is an uninspiring place to work and upper management seems lost.
