Mission of saving lives and being focused on that mission.

Cons

terrible senior leadership. Do as I say not as I do. No direction or capable of listening to what others have to say. My why or no way. Terrible work life balance. Hours are horrendous for hourly personnel. Little to no involvement by senior leadership except when something doesn't go the way they want. No idea what is happening in other departments by senior leadership. Raises are almost nonexistent. overpaid executive leadership team that isn't qualified to run areas.

Family atmosphere if you understand the rules. Managers will work with you. Lots of PTO from day one. Annual performance review with raise. Annual bonus. Room for advancement if motivated to learn.

Cons

24/7 work environment. Work rotating weekends and holidays or on call. We do know our schedule from day one. We can switch days with others. Occasional blood spill.
