Great mission, nice, caring people

Cons

Long hours and weekend, management unfocused and scattered. Very little work life balance but lots of conversation about it’s importance. Very little feedback and proper individual goal setting. Everything done last minute and in a rush.

Great place to work if you like rah-rah meetings full of BS.

Cons

Versiti is a greedy corporation that has taken over community blood banks around the Midwest. The daily corporate demand for blood products far exceeds what donors are willing to give so it is a high pressure environment. The Versiti folks are highly disorganized and their focus and priorities are insane. They do not embrace the mission of the community blood bank and their song and dance for the employees is hollow. People are quitting every week, stay away.
