      Awful VCGT leadership, impersonal, completely detached from the rest of the organization. Leadership doesn’t listen to employees Mixed messaging around Flexible working High dissatisfaction, low morale and burnout Completely chaotic way of working No team empowerment. I regret wholeheartedly joining this company, never seen such a toxic environment No trust in the employees They will keep burning trough people, because they just don’t care

      Front row seats to a dumpster fire

      Pros

      Location. Decent pay at first. Free beer. A lot of hardworking people who mean well but are quickly burnt out.

      Cons

      Not even close to what it used to be. Employees are taken advantage of, skipped over repeatedly for promotions with 2% merit increases. You can tell the reviews from people who have just started and haven’t witnessed the downward spiral. VMC is treated like a CMO at best. Will likely only be more turmoil and turnover in the coming years. With so many Pharma/Biotech options in this area, there is no reason to put up with this.

      The C-Suit is the Biggest Problem

      Pros

      They hire interns and allow them to learn.

      Cons

      The C-Suite is the biggest problem of this company. They exploit employees at all levels, set crazy and unrealistic deadlines, never help an employee maintain proper work-life balance and still don't give a promotion or pay raise opportunities. All the raises are for themselves. Employees shouldn't even ask about this injustice as they will find an excuse to kick you after that.
