      Pros

      Fair pay and benefits. Mostly good people.

      Cons

      When you are screaming for help, Vertex could care less. This "empathetic" facade they try to emulate is garbage. Go somewhere that appreciates you, not this nightmare.

      Pros

      Very forward thinking company when it comes to work/life balance. Unlimited PTO, flexible work hours, results measurement instead of time, and a generous continued education fund. They definitely set the bar high for any future employers.

      Cons

      HR was a sore spot for a few things. But new leadership seems to be addressing it. There's a few of the old guard 20+ year employees that have lost touch with the outside world and will hold everyone back with them.

      No micro management Enjoyable projects to work on that push beyond current knowledge set and challenge you to learn new skills Remote first with no current talks of a return to office

      Cons

      Big corporation with a definite wall between the executives and the team on the ground doing day to day operations.
