      Pros

      Executive team is accessible. Matrix organization ensures that you are not at the mercy of your "boss"...in fact, there are on bosses.

      Disorganized, the communication could be better and HR could be better connected to the organization

      Pros

      I've been at Vertex for a little over a year and it feels like the timing is just right to be joining the company. There has been this great history and leadership who built an incredible platform and market domination, but at the same time it's at the point where new leadership is accelerating the business globally. My commute isn't great, but the new building is amazing and makes it worth the drive. The people are incredible as well, and the value of having a Fun work environment is evident.

      Cons

      Transforming the culture will take some time, so it's a good thing to be patient, but the momentum is there and it won't take long!
