Pros

Working on a product that is essential to the lives of millions is what every product manager wants! The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely talented, which creates an inspiring work environment. The product itself is innovative and constantly evolving, making work exciting and rewarding. The company culture promotes open communication, professional growth, and a healthy balance between work and personal life.

Cons

While I love the company, there can sometimes be challenges with communication between departments, however, these are actively being addressed and improved and don’t take away from the overall positive experience, i believe this struggle is similar in every company

Pros

Working at Viber was a meaningful experience for me. I really enjoyed my work and the atmosphere. The team was friendly and supportive. The environment was stable and calm, and everything we needed was readily available.

Cons

After the war in Russia, everything started to get worse. The budget tightened, and we felt that something was wrong. I was laid off in the first round. It was sad, but they gave me very good severance compensation. Another downside was the overwhelming bureaucracy, which was exhausting. We were required to attend a weekly, irrelevant meeting that had nothing to do with our work. There was also unfairness in internal office competitions, as Russian speakers had a significant advantage.
