Favoritism, it's a lot about office politics and forming relationships with the right people. Some positions don't make sense, but they get created to give jobs to specific favored individuals.

The GM is good, regular employees are cool, free lunches, free parking

Cons

Managers have major drama with each other, HR doesn't do their job, they start or contribute to rumors, no HR employee support unless they like you. No communication about anything to anyone. I would not recommend a friend to work here.
