      Pros

      cant get any worse. and they have free coffee!

      Cons

      Health plan, dental plan(or lack of), daily possibility of getting laid off and replaced by a temp, latarel movement within company, cost of living increases(not), management oversight(in break room)

      Experience working in multitude of functions, good leadership at VP level and above, industry leader, privately held

      Old fashioned management styles, 'Good 'ol Boys' attitude, Company initiatives driven by salesforce promises with little consideration for actual manufacturing capabilities, Mid to high level management positions typically filled externally, Uncompetitive salaries

      Pros

      Victaulic is a wonderful company with an outstanding business model. There are tremendous opportunities for employees on a global scale and many examples of employees who have been given opportunities for cross-functional career development and upward advancement. The company continues to grow at a rapid pace but works hard to retain a paternalistic approach to taking care of employees - annual bonuses for all salaried employees, robust 401K match, strong benefits package, competitive salaries, employee programs, leading volunteerism and charity support.

      Cons

      Too many employees don't fully appreciate how special the company is, which is evidenced by the number of former employees who inquire about coming back after seeing that the grass isn't greener somewhere else.
