      The benefits 401k, health, dental, vision I surance

      Cons

      Low pay, zero OT (don’t believe HR when they say that there is overtime), revolving door, lazy coworkers the hang out in bathrooms, alcohol and drug use by coworkers on property, immature Supervisors, drama, loud arguments every night, machinery not maintained well by qualified employees, ridiculous point based punitive system

      Old company and management

      Pros

      Victaulic is an old local company and they treat you like a human being. The hours of work are respected and they understand that you have a life. As far as software and technology, the construction industry is relatively behind and there is room to come up with creative solutions.

      Cons

      Victaulic is an old company, there’s large amount of tech debt that’s been accumulated over the years. Tech has been an after thought for most of the company’s history until recently. A lot still needs to change before it gets up to modern standards. Management is old school and is made up of Easton locals who worked there 30+ years ago. Young talent is feared and discouraged from rising up the ranks. Nobody wants to lose their job, but at some point you need to hire or promote someone into management who isn’t 50+ and grew up in Lehigh Valley PA.

Regarding your concerns about our technology and management practices, we understand that transitioning an established company into the modern tech landscape presents unique challenges, including managing the "tech debt" that has accumulated over the years. It will take time, but we are actively working on modernizing our technology and processes to support our teams and clients better. We also take your observations about management and the need for fresh perspectives seriously. We are continually working on our leadership development programs. While we prefer to promote from within, the Company also hires external talent to help introduce new ideas and approaches to work. Thank you again for your review.
