      Pros

      -Great place to learn general management -People are highly competent within their positions -DBS provides a foundation for standardized business improvement

      Cons

      -Business only environment, not a collaborative culture -Employees care about their immediate work, not necessarily the overall goal -DBS works great for the shop floor but doesn't make sense for other functions like marketing

      In totality, my experience at Videojet / Danaher was positive.

      Pros

      Very disciplined, process oriented, well run business. The Danaher Business Systems (DBS) is excellent training for anyone with management ambitions. Compensations is in line with peer organizations.

      Cons

      Although a blameless work environment is a core value of the Danaher Business System, Videojet can tend to be "blame oriented." Although it is not always the case, employee feedback is typically disregarded or ignored by senior management.
