Pros

I’m honestly trying hard to think of something. My bubble burst quickly because I wanted to love this job and went in with such a positive outlook but if you don’t belong, you’ll feel it right away.

Cons

I was warned that this was a boys club before I even started, but thought, how bad can it be? I found out quickly just how bad. I was completely shocked by the culture they claim to have and then what it really is. I was surprised by how little they actually cared about how their employees treated me. My first official day after training, two employees were talking about me in such a way that I thought I was back in high school. This was literally MY FIRST DAY there. Such immaturity and gossip doesn’t belong in the workplace and wasn’t handled properly in my opinion. From that moment on, it was a hostile environment and was offered zero protection from them and others who purposely made my job harder. I was put into a role that should have been easy to do, however my hands were tied to do it. My position required me to work alongside with other sales people but they were rude, difficult and not willing to work with me. Different systems went down for days at a time and I spent my time working to fix it because my “supervisor” wasn’t to be bothered. In total, I had roughly 4 weeks of not having the tools to perform my job. Possibly more. I would ask a question and it would take days if not a full week to get a response. In fact, I didn’t get paid my commissions before Christmas because he didn’t get around to it and then acted like it was no big deal. I get it- he has money so it’s not a big deal to him. I have so much more to add but I’ll leave it at this.
