As another reviewer has pointed out, don't be fooled by the recent positive reviews. Many of them are from new employees working at the Long Beach L1 project. The Mojave operation is terribly mismanaged and has been for years now. The team is way understaffed and task saturated to the point where many important aspects are just glossed over and not given the proper attention to ensure safety or success. Top talent has been leaving in droves and the trend is accelerating. Seems like the good people last about 2 years before they get frustrated and move on. The company has consistently taken a very arrogant seat of the pants approach to everything, and this will likely be their downfall.

Management and above are horrible. Low diversity as far as backgrounds go, considering many in management came from Disneyland. VG has been hemorrhaging money since January 2022. Mass layoffs in November 2023. CEO sent out a blast email laying off 18% of workforce, then walked around the floor to see how people were reacting to his email. All about company politics, they'll keep you if they like you, not if you perform well. They don't want to hear your opinions and will punish you if you disagree with them. They are the furthest thing from transparent and honest, will lie straight to your face. Having this company on my resume looks good, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a serious career move. Work here if you just want something temporary to boost your resume, don't consider it as a lifetime career.
