Business Outlook
Pros
There are great benefits that come along with working for a state university. The leadership team was great in our department. I had a good team of people in my office.
Cons
There are some people who are not willing to do more than what is spelled out in their employee work plan. That can be very frustrating at times. It seems that good people leave to pursue better paying jobs in the private sector and the ones that don't want to do more than they have to do stay forever.
