      Good benefits, and work-life balance

      Cons

      The salary is on the low-end and there is not much potential for promotions outside of just applying for different positions in the organization. It's about as difficult as getting a job at a new company.

      Great Experience if you have the right supervisor

      Pros

      Had a great experience at Virginia Tech. It was a nice team to work with until a change in leadership led to abusive work environment.

      Cons

      Change in director and supervisor caused the whole team to go downhill and it became a toxic environment to work with. The wrong leadership can destroy a team and affect morale severely.
