Great Part Time Work

Pros

Free food with ever shift. People are generally cool. Management gets that this is a part-time job and are typically pretty chill.

Cons

Sometimes management doesn't listen. They have a few fireable offenses including 6 unexcused absences. This is reasonable, but sometimes they will hire the person back the next week effectively giving them a clean slate with no change in work ethic. Regularly understaffed.

Pros

This is a quite small town (officially it is the largest town in Virginia) for living and studying. It is in the Appalachian mountains and good for outdoor exercise.

Cons

A little far away from big cities. The nearest big city is Washington, D.C., which is 5 hours away. The nearest airport is Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport, which is 40 minutes away.
