Business Outlook
Pros
Supportive environment that is friendly to families. Nice colleagues in my department, and a generally welcoming atmosphere. Pay is very generous for a visiting position, but this may just be my department.
Cons
Living in Blacksburg is pretty dull. The restaurants are all chains and there are few cultural events. That said, it is a friendly town and good for raising kids if you have them.
