How it feels like to work as a Graduate research assistant depends entirely on the graduate advisor, since he/she is the god to grad students!

Cons

Not so much.. only complaint is that the town is very small and there's no fun places around. Can be good for study.

Cons

Working for government run university some paperwork may take a long time to process. Certain professors lack ideal communication skills.

The main reasons are- one of the top rung research universities, infrastructure, cost of living, nice and cozy atmosphere, with very nice people to work with

Cons

University town so nothing much to do except for research or going to games or downtown, the winter can be really harsh.
