Great benefits, horrible management

Pros

Good pay, excellent benefits, van pool reimbursement, flexible hours (unofficially, depending on the manager and position)

Cons

Far too political, too bureaucratic, nearly all management all based in France (except where to do so would cause a riot) where the culture is to yell to get things done, unrealistic expectations from upper management, poor communication, short sighted approach, work life balance only improves once you decide to NOT CARE.

- Very nice and helpful colleagues - Very quick promotion if you do well and make your managers happy - Nice building and working environment

Cons

- Low payment, stressful work, bad life-work balance - Sometimes, some of the managers are kind of tough and show no respect to employees.

Highly intelligent co-workers, excellent new hire training program, but less so for experienced processors. Industry leading benefits. Decent pay for high achievers.

Cons

Lack of serious employee reviews allow some to sneak under the radar, and remain on the workforce past their usefulness. High turnover rate due to hiring of non-geophysical disciplines, and stagnation of the advancement process.
