Pros

can wfh two days per week.

Cons

1. Toxic management level. As long as you are old enough then you can become a manager, even though your soft and hard skills are terrible; Some project leaders are absolutely NPDs, as they always deny your work and your ideas while they cannot provide you any solution or guidance. They will also easily change their ideas so you have to redo EVERYTHING, 2. Sunset industry with limited development. Oil/Gas will be used up in a few years and more and more countries are using clean energy. 3. Highly subjective quality check standards. This field has already been sunset industry, but surprisingly there is still no uniform standard to QC every processes. Whether your result is good or not is totally depends on your manager/PL/clients' personal ideas, You will have to revise PPT with hundreds of slides again and again just because the managers change their mind frequently, And then you will have to work overtime to compensate the time you have wasted in revising PPT. In conclusion, you can recommend this company to your enemies therefore they can have a miserable life working here.
