Pros

Transparency, a lot of information in on company's internal web, projects details/meetings notes/personnel changes etc. Swift and decisive move in reorganizing the firm after the merge. Intelligent co-workers. Everyone needs to be an individual contributer at some level, no hands-off managers.

Cons

The hours are long. The pay/review structure is not clear. Pretty hash in layoff.
