Pros

Job security...leaders do not take harsh decision but will give multiple chances ( read the cons to add to this )

Cons

Buddies, families, relatives and friends of leaders fill 30% of the crowd...all they have to do is keep clapping to leader's words and praising them with "yes, you are the boss".....your technical/professional talents and experience never win here. If one needs to stay on, keep learning a specific local language first, which will ensure your job. This is much more important because you performance review is conducted by a manager who is not accountable for your deliverables ( accountability lies with matrix). At the end you end up working for two sets of management and forgets to work for the organisation. Multiple groups compete with each other to show who is better, because its all about how your leaders perceive.

Pros

Flexibility Enjoy the roles and responsibilities of my job

Cons

It is very much a boys club at the senior levels Serious lack of communication Success is not really celebrated, hard work is not recognised. I would not recommend any career driven young women to start with virtustream.

Pros

Virtustream has the potential of being a true cloud disruptor in the mission critical applications space. The technology is sound and the offering is very appealing. The idea of being a one-stop shop for migrating, hosting and managing applications, such as SAP, is a message that resonates to customers.

Cons

Virtustream's chaotic organization and mediocre middle management are the two most serious risks preventing the company from achieving its potential. The company is lethargic taking endless time to make decisions and respond to customer queries. Internal conflict and blame games are just too taxing on employee productivity and creativity. The company's executives have an idea on where to play in the cloud space but they are so slow to develop the right tools, processes and execution strategies to help them move fast to capture market opportunities.
