      Pros

      If you are willing to put in the work, this company will will invest in your success. You must be strong, vocal and again willing to put in the work. Nothing is handed to you woth this company, they require you to do your job and reward you when you do. They genuinely care about you, your family and want to know your dreams.

      Cons

      Could pay more in line to the market that you work in vs a general blanket. This has improved over the last 2 years, but still needs more attention.

      Pros

      Vista host is the greatest companies to work for. They train their leaders to be helpful and inspire the new team members that join VH. They do not hesitate to recognize you for your accomplishments. They are supportive in every single way.

      Cons

      They only con is that occasionally they tell a lot of dad jokes.

      Pros

      Opportunities to grow are there for those who are willing to learn and develop, has a culture of hard work but is manageable if you do your job right. Invests in those who want to develop. Bonus structure for managers is excellent. Coming out of the pandemic entire company took a hard look at wages (specifically for housekeeping) and increased pay significantly based on each market.

      Cons

      Pretty lean on labor at times with goals that are hard to meet, but all in an attempt to be successful businesses. Need to remember that it is a company with dozens of hotels, so culture and work life balance is different at each hotel based on the leadership at that hotel. Some can be better, some are incredible (the one I work for is incredible). Senior leadership understands this and tries to get GMs to run hotels effectively.
