Pros

Vistage instills pride in work, determination, and professionalism as key drivers in employees to create a successful career path. While the standards are high, they help elevate work product and expectations of oneself in the spirit of always continuing to grow. It's one of the few companies in San Diego at a smaller size that offers regular collaboration with global partners, providing great exposure to the international corporate world, which is becoming increasingly important in today's global workplace. I owe much of my professional success to Vistage and the opportunities provided to help enhance my career. Specifically the professional development days, leadership groups and the ability to connect directly with the CEO made a huge impact on my career trajectory. The people are truly what make Vistage unique. The HR Department is outstanding and keeps the culture and "people" side of the business in the forefront as they collaborate with leaders to ensure a peoplefirst mindset. They are truly advocates for their employees and are awesome!! I recommend this company to individuals hungry to learn and ready to dive into various responsibilities (including those outside of your job description) as a way to seek professional growth.

Cons

While the culture is fantastic, and there is a robust benefits program that is carefully crafted by HR, the base compensation needs to be evaluated for several positions throughout the company. It is a strong mid-market competitor for comp, but is not offering top-level base compensation. The corporate bonus program is offered company-wide for full-time employees and is competitive.

Pros

Mostly exceptional staff that truly care, no real dead weight in company as every role carries a lot of responsibility.

Cons

Leadership tends to keep the "status quo" going and is sometimes reluctant to change so they can keep their big salaries and titles. HR truly does nothing when you report anything. They side with management and offer nothing beyond someone to listen.
