Pros

Decent benefits as they cover most of the insurance premium in their employer sponsored benefits. Nice employee discount if you want to get product for yourself. Depending on the category it's 65 to 75% discount.

Cons

The company is owned by private equity. (Goldman Sachs) You cannot make a bonus or reach a sales goal in a legacy showroom because the goals you have to make are larger than what other new showrooms have to do. (Yes, someone in a new showroom will make their bonuses every month, and you'll see it possibly once or twice a year if you're lucky). The recruiters are not honest about that because they're afraid of not being able to attract talent. For those who don't know what a legacy showroom is, that means they're not a new location and have been open for more than X number of years. So any showroom that is old and has been around has sales goals that are 2-8 times higher than other locations that have just opened or haven't been open as long. So imagine moving 2 to 8 times more product than a new location but making zero commission, while other showrooms can skate into bonuses constantly. (Feels terrible). There are 2 floating holidays, but basically the showroom is retail hours and hourly pay, so you have to clock in and be in person.
