Pros

We are on a mission to improve the lives of people, animals, and the planet through food. Most people here really believe in that. We treat eachother with respect, and try to make it fun.

Cons

The company is growing fast, and there are growing pains. I don't miss working for a big company, but sometimes I miss the systems and processes that big companies have in place.

We're glad you're bringing our mission to life (and having fun doing it)! In the past year, our incredible team has grown almost 30% and we're working to implement processes and systems that support our growing business. We've invested a lot time, money, and resources to making that happen, and that won't stop now! We're just getting started! We know we've got more to do, so thank you for supporting us on this journey.

First, we want to assure you that we use any and all feedback as an opportunity for learning and introspection. We are disappointed that you felt unfulfilled by your experience at Vital Farms. We strive to create a culture that embodies our core values of growth, humility, empathy, and ownership—and we believe much of what you’ve shared can be addressed by contextualizing how we practice these values across the business. Everyone at Vital Farms is held accountable to our values, beginning with our leadership team to our crewmembers across the country—whether it’s listening and seeking to understand each other, validating others’ points of views and feelings, or leaving our egos at the door, maintaining an uncompromising belief that we win and lose as a team, not as individuals. Our mission is to bring ethical food to the table. We’re doing this by challenging the norms of factory farming and building a more ethical food system. Our work is ambitious and extends far beyond measuring ourselves by quotas. Our value to lead with a growth mindset means that our crewmembers bring the drive to succeed, the desire to learn, and the energy to keep raising the standards every day. We know we must hold ourselves to the same high standards that we expect for the food system, and we believe every crewmember at Vital Farms is motivated and inspired by our values, mission, and ambition to disrupt the food system for good.

Pros

There are a lot of pros at vital farms. The pay, benefits, and extra gifts, bonuses, meals, etc. are unrivaled

Cons

Due to being a newer company, Vital Farms still suffers some growing pains. I believe as time continues and things continue to settle, they will be certainly worthy of a 5 Star review.
