We appreciate your review! As a fast-growing company, we couldn't be successful without crewmembers like you, who make us better everyday. Thank you for everything you do!

Pros

Company works hard to create an engaging and ethical work environment. Highly desirable and attractive organization especially in the consumer products/food industry. Many join because the company's statement of why we exist: ...to improve the lives of people, animals and plan through food.

Cons

Fast-growth creates challenges to keep up with change

Pros

-crew incentives for attendance -cost of living increases -crew swag -weekly crew lunches -weekly company updates, monthly SLT meetings -many growth opportunities -continuously seeks to improve crewmember experience -great core values -coworkers are wonderful for the most part, across all three shifts -approachable front office -free eggs! -growth opportunity is available if you work hard and are willing to learn

Cons

I believe VF strives to handle challenges quickly, and in an equitable manner, however; there is still a lot of room for growth in this area. While I believe that many crew members have a fair to good experience, there are situations that fly under the radar, or that are back shelved for whatever reason, and it can be impossible to overcome some of those issues, leading good people to leave, loose drive, or move into other positions or to other shifts. You have a serious moral issue brewing on your doorstep. Again, I do believe that the company is trying to address that but that is of little comfort to those dealing with the consequences of bad policies, ineffective management, and in some cases, hostile management. The majority of your crew really wants to be engaged, find ways to do better, but innovation can be so fragile at times. When you have little faith in leadership, the potential drive for innovative thinking, growth, humility, ownership all fades. PLEASE continue to listen to the feedback of your crew. Many of us appreciate the positive nature of the companies core values but feel like it is somewhat dismissive and condescending to respond this way to very real issues.
