Pros

absolutely none, they will blame the frontline employees for all of their wrong decisions.

Cons

leadership that is unaware of what happens in their centers and how donor care supervisors bully and intimidate and then play victims to an upper management that is clueless of day to day hard work by front line employees.

Pros

I like going to work knowing I am helping save lives every day. I never thought I would be in blood banking but I love the industry. The company wants you to grow as a person. I earned my Masters Degree while working with the company too. I've been able to travel and speak at national conferences. There are lots of different avenues you can take with this company. Pay, benefits and advancements are much better than many might think it would be.

Cons

I left the company at one point to pursue other dreams and ended up coming back. I missed working for something so important and the great people that work at Vitalant. It is a nationwide organization. I wish we could make more decisions locally on some things but overall there are so many advantages to being a large company.
