Pros

Helps develop useful sales skills, and teaches you to think on your feet. The environment is supportive and fun and the managers really do care about you. The harder you work the more you can make, and be sure to take advantage of any bonus offered, it really can add up.

Cons

It can be tedious at time, and the rejection can wear you down a bit, get ready to build a thicker skin.

Pros

The camaraderie. Most of the staff is dedicated and level headed.

Cons

Management constantly lying and making promises they cannot keep. Just be smart and don’t believe everything they tell you. There isn’t any room to grow at Vivax so keep that in mind also.

Pros

You get what you put into it, which allows you to blaze your own trail within the company. The unique seasonality of the role and the company mean you can bust your butt for part of the year, and take it easy in the winter. I was able to snowboard, go on trips, and relax during the winter Holidays. The culture and leadership is phenomenal. Although my time came to a natural end and I was ready to try a new industry, the lessons I took from my peers and management has been invaluable. I owe so many parts of my career advancement to my time at Vivax. Great reputation. It's nice to believe in what you are selling and who you are working with. A really fun team! You are out in the field - not stuck in an office. On average, I met 4 to 5 different homeowners a day and was able to create my own schedule while meeting new people throughout the week. No two days are the same, which means it doesn't get boring!

Cons

Once again, you get what you put in. If you don't like to work hard, or have a tendency to be entitled when it comes to your career, this isn't the place for you. You really do have to bust your you-know-what during the peak season. It's worth it though when you can kick back and relax during the slower months. It's a newer company, so there are understandable growing pains. But it's also not a corporate machine with a lot of red tape ... so it's a double edged sword in this respect. It's not for everyone! But if you have a good work ethic, you'll come away with great experience pretty much every day.
