      Great benefits, 401k match and flexible work

      Pros

      Great benefits with amazing 401k match. They are very flexible with work. Good pay and vacation. Low travel percentage maybe 10 percent at most with hybrid office schedule.

      Cons

      Compensation isn't the highest like most jobs you have to prove the during evaluations to receive pay changes. Lack of employee events in the last couple of years which is starting to turn around.

      Pros

      Small company with close nit teams. Resources in place to do a good job. Autonomy to be effective and enough controls to prevent mass chaos.

      Cons

      Local leadership is unrealistic. Pay is insufficient. Favoritism is evident.

      Great Engineers, Management Trusts Nothing

      Pros

      Interesting work in Hydro, with some very smart and dedicated engineers.

      Cons

      No one shares information, the Board micromanages the company / every decision. When a decision needs to be made, the Sr Managers only ask if 'S' will like it, not if it is the right decision. Safety is poor - they blame the employee for getting hurt. Quality is poor, same scenario, cover yourself so you don't get the blame.
