      Pros

      You can certainly advance within the Volvo Group e.g. Volvo Parts, Volvo IT, etc. Non Automotive Purchasing is only one organization within Volvo Group.

      Cons

      USA employees have to follow globabl directives. No advancement opportunities within the local organization. Very high focus on cost savings. No bonus.

      Pros

      Good benefits package. The best one I have seen in this job market. Depending on the manager, the possibility for a flexible work environment

      Cons

      Less than competitive salary. Would trade some of the benefits package for an increase. Path to career advancement is not always the most clear Differences in the way employees with the same jobs are treated and compensated depending on where you are located. Decisions will be made that affect you, but chances are nothing will be said until there is a problem.
