Toxic culture
Pros
As a TA, I experienced a toxic environment characterized by micromanagement, a manager who neglects work-life balance and employee well-being, and a culture aimed at controlling and exhausting staff.
Cons
The company conducts a Glint survey; however, the results were completely ignored. My manager scored lower than any other manager in the area, yet no action was taken. People were crying on the open floor, but management seemed to care only about appearances and maintaining happy faces. Even though we are all colleagues, we were treated as a service function for other areas—TA is neither recognized nor valued. She has been the worst manager I have had, showing no regard for employees’ personal lives and failing to listen to their concerns.
