Wonderful people on the line (once you make an effort to get to know them) Overall job security Occasional team lunches/dinners I'd like to say union (but it's hardly a year old so obviously it lacks teeth)

Cons

Petty politics Unwilling to take tough and obvious decisions for fear of upsetting the apple cart No or very slow job advancement (you can die of old age stuck in the same job)
