Pros

HomeAway has a great C-Team and core set of products.

Cons

HomeAway has grown to the point where there is little growth for internal employees and they look externally for most new positions. The c-team is great but if you get stuck under some of the bad pockets of middle management it can feel like you work for a different company.

Pros

A marketplace business (in travel) that has many facets and lots of interesting challenges and opportunities for designers, developers, marketers, and product people.

Cons

The company has tons of headcount and lots of smart people but seems to roll out average products slowly and prevents them from capitalizing on big opportunities right in front of them.
