      More of a PR/HR pitch than anything close to reality

      Pros

      Admirable company goals with regard to work/life balance, healthy living, equal opportunity, etc.

      Cons

      Your experience will depend entirely on your department and management. 24/7 dedication to the job is applauded with 60 - 70+ hour work weeks common (and expected by some managers.) Internal competition is fierce with fractured relationships across many teams who should be working together. It shows in the disjointed product and brand.

      Great Company. Great Culture. Great Location. Great Products. Great Perks. Okay Pay. Except for the Database Department this company rocks!

      Cons

      The Database Department is BY FAR the most backward and oppressive I've experienced. Overworked. Disempowered. Unappreciated. Micromanaged. Oppressed. Subjected to daily stand-ups where public humiliation of peer inadequacies was commonplace. The smartest most dedicated team was treated like a bunch of retards. Highest turn-over due to low job satisfaction I've ever seen.

      Decent salary, flexibility and opportunities to work remotely.

      Cons

      Lots of politics, lack of organization, inability to truly address issues. But you'll get a lot of pep talk.
